After the success of previous editions, in Vinhais (2019) and Seia (2021), RAMM – Residência Artística Montanha Mágica* returns in 2024, with Mirandela as the setting.
This is the result of a partnership between EsACT-IPB and the Department of Arts at the University of Beira Interior – UBI, which involves students from both higher education institutions. Once again, participants will have the opportunity to live an extremely enriching experience, both creatively and personally, enhanced by the intense exchange of experiences with the local community and the subsequent debate of the results, within the scope of the Magic Mountain* Art and Landscape Symposium ( www.montanhamagica.ubi.pt), to be held in November.
The work of documenting and preserving the collective memory, traditions and visual and sound landscapes of the Trás-os-Montes territory will be guided by teachers from both institutions and the Trás-os-Montes director Rúben Sevivas.
Applications for RAMM* 2024, which will take place from March 11th to 16th, in Mirandela, are open until February 16th. Participation is limited to 4 students from each institution.
If you wish to participate, send a Note of Intent (1 page A4) and CV to the email addresses: tiago.fernandes@ipb.pt and penafria@ubi.pt. The results will be communicated in the same way by February 23rd.
Note: participation includes accommodation, food, travel and cinema equipment.
